WaMu 90000 was a two-axle, covered freight car that was a representative type of black boxcar used by Japanese National Railways (JNR).

The WaMu 90000 series was introduced in 1953 and became a common sight on Japanese railways.

It was manufactured by improving upon the older Wara 23,000 type, and over 18,000 were built.
